How many of you have been violated by an online predator? ?

I don't know what you mean exactly by violated but I had a really psycho stalker once. It was really scarey like you said. He hated Christians, especially me he said he hated my avatar! It was an eye. He would answer my questions with abusive and threatening answers. He was so obsessed with me that he would answer other's questions abusively about me mentioning me by name. He would reply to Christian questions that his fav dream was seeing piles of flaming dead Christians.

There wasn't the blocked option back then and one day I went through his questions to see if he wrote anything else about me and I found this question where he was clearly pretending to be stalked and asked if someone was stalking him online, could the stalker find out who they really were and where they lived. What he was really trying to find out was if HE stalked someone, could he find out who the person was and where they lived. And I think he was referring to stalking me!

At that point I e-mailed yahoo and alerted them that I might have a dangerous stalker. They passed the buck uninterested and told me to contact the online police. I did and they said the person never personally threatened me so there was nothing they could do about it. I wrote back and said, "What do I have to do, be found dead before you take this seriously?!"

Well, my hands were tied and I was scared and at that point I gave it to Jesus in prayer and miraculously, he never posted any more questions after that even though his account was still there. Trust him and He will take care of your stalker, too. There are some mentally unstable people online. We have to be careful never to cross them. I made the mistake of answering him back once.

Pray to Jesus for protection, and don't give out any personal information. As a rule, I try not to talk to MEN online. I try to only deal with women. That just keeps me away from stalkers, and also keeps my marriage safe.
