KISS - Two other bandmate characters ?

Edit- While Vinnie Vincent and Eric Carr were in Kiss, Kiss decided in the early 80s to go sans make up. Plus the 4 original that you mentioned are what Kiss fans remember and hold dear to their hearts. The original band members reunited and decided to put back on the make up and go on tour. It was a huge commercial success. When Ace and Peter wanted more money they were kicked out and replaced by Eric Singer as the Cat Man and Tommy Thayer (formally of Black and Blue) as Space Ace. To have Tommy Thayer be dressed up as The Ankh would be stupid.Plus the band, when they first decided to take off the make up,knowing that they are now rotating band members didnt want to keep coming up with personas for the new members.

After Vinnie Vincent left the band he was replaced by Mark St. John who only performed on one album, Animalized but was kicked out because Gene did not like him. (He was told to say he had arthritis and couldnt play but that was not the truth) He was replaced by Bruce Kulick.

Eric Carr passed away in 1991 due to Heart cancer and was replaced by Eric Singer

Originally Paul was supposed to be the Lone Ranger but due to trademark issues they could not use it. See the cover of an album called Kiss My *** a collection of covers of Kiss Songs the cove shows the Demon, the Starchild, the Cat and the Lone Ranger.

Ace and Peter quit Kiss by their own choice. Ace didn't like the direction Kiss going. He wanted Kiss to be more of a guitar driven band and he also was ready to stop wearing make up and costumes.

Peter quit Kiss because of the harm it was doing to his family life. He didn't want to loose his wife.

This is such a waste of time. The band blows, and Gene is an oversized boil.
