You seem to be allowing one thought or a series of related thoughts to control your outlook and perception of the goodness of your life.
We have myriad experiences every day of our lives. Some good, some bad. And, we can learn from every one of these experiences and see a positive aspect to every bad situation.
Don't always accept the coloring of your life as continually dark and bleak. The light is there. Let it shine in.
