Question about Mariah Carey's song ->O Holy Night?
Does anyone know where she sang this song? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rt0VfiFxtHo Was it live in a church? Or were her vocals dubbed over from a previous recording, and this church recording video wasn't as powerful? I say this video is Mariah singing it in real time. Live. The microphones are out of view. We do have this technology.
Edit: See the audience. Mariah and the choir are singing directly to them. Mariah hit's a certain part of the song, the audience screams out with approval. Churches have excellent acoustics. This song version differs from that on the '96 album. It isn't the same. Listen to them both. Both versions are on YouTube. What I'm stating, is that she ISN'T lip-syncing, it's a real church, and the audience is the congregation. The sound quality of her vocals, and the choir, MAY have been enhanced, After the vid was shot.

no lol. i'm sorry to tell you this, but that is the actual music video. she redid most of the vocals. but that is the music video.
"O Holy Night" was released in 1996 as a promotional single for the album, and again in 2000 with a video accompanying it. Paul Wilson Gardon, a very close friend to MC, was said to have influenced her to create a Christmas album.
