I've been in three long term relationships before, and none of them have worked out. I do not want to come off as pessimistic, but honestly, the chances of you guys having a flourishing relationship is rather slim. In order to grow in love, you need to grow with eachother and spend time together.

All I can say is if both of you are willing to make the effort for a relationship and you can spend time together on a semi-regular basis, like every 1-2 months. You should be able to make it work. The one bright spot to long distance relationships. You bond over interests, physical attraction and lust won't cloud your judgment.

My gf and I did the whole long distance thing for about 7 months. I was in high school and she was a freshman in college. Its hard. I love her, and she loves me. Being away from each other just makes you stronger, and makes you want her more more each day.
You just have to have faith that it will work.
And you have to make a better effort to meet her more.

long distance relations dont seem to work very well as there is a chance of betrayal and cheating ,bcause u dont know what the other is doing . if its an open relationship than its fine ..

Long distance relationships can definately last. It all depends on how much you and your significant other are willing to try to keep it alive. try to trust the other and talk to her any chance you get.

It depends if you try hard enough to see the person. it's actually kinda romantic to go to her place just to see her. <3 And talk to her as much possible.

It might work but it means a lot of traveling and trust and eventually one of you will have to move,if you get together.

if you both can be faithful and endure enuff, its possible to stand long.. its all depend on preserverance and patience.
do both of you still love each other.. then just endure.. endure and endure all the way.. you both actually miss each other deeply..
