Paul Blart Mall Cop or Hotel for Dogs...taking daughter to movie?
If any of you have seen either or both of these kiddie movies, can you let me know which you preferred? My daughter wants to see both and would enjoy both, but I'm the one who has to suffer through... thanks.
Who the heck is dishing out thumbs down on my question? Just cause it's not your choice?? Leave that alone!

I've only seen Hotel for Dogs.
However, Mall Cop would probably provide more of a laugh than Hotel for Dogs.
Hotel for Dogs is very touching, and sweet, with a few laughs here and there.
It's about two children (brother and sister), that live with two foster parents. They take care of this one dog that they had from their original parents. Later on they discover that they won't be able to take care of the dog without getting caught (foster parents don't know about the dog), and the dog eventually finds this abandoned hotel with two other dogs. The brother convinces the sister to take care of all three, and after a few sub-plots and new friends, they end up taking care of multiple dogs. Then they get caught, the dog pound people take the dogs away, the foster parents try to get rid of the kids, therefore the kids are separated and all that.
The two kids meet again with the help of one of the friends, and they break the dogs out of the pound. They're original idea didn't work, and they dogs ended up going back to the hotel. Then the man that put the kids into certain foster homes stops the cops and pound men from taking away the dogs, and the kids.
And it's all happy again. :D

Paul Blart Mall Cop. It looks very funny on the previews and doesn't look like a tear jerker. You can never go wrong with Kevin James he's a riot!

I haven't seen them but if you see Hotel for dogs you will be helping shelters, because every time someone buys a movie ticket they donate food to shelters.

well there is some language in mall cop, and a few of scenes about drinking, and getting drunk, but it never comes out saying he is drunk. Hotel is cuter, because mall cops is abnoxious
