How many would starve.?

well the organic vegatable growers wouldnt be to effected but then again there prices would skyrocket because 90% of vegatables that are grown in america are harvested by the average farmer that uses diesel fuel and the average american wouldnt be able to afford them but obesity would skyrocket because they would go to foods that are filling and unhealthy

Millions of americans will starve if farmers do not use other means of farming just like the good old days when horses or other animals were used to tend the farm. Nuclear power plants could also be used to run electric powered farming machinery. Other countries will supply food to USA if there is not enough food from US farms.

It would affect America long before any effect to the farmers. For a start, there'd be no transportation. America would grind to a halt.
