Speaking as a "Creationist." I have never seen any evidence of evolution. It requires no faith to recognise an impossibility. For example, It requires no faith to look at my car and recognise the impossibility of the car being derived naturally from the properties of the metal and chemicals and molecules contained therein. Rather, the shape and function of the car is imposed upon said molecules, metal etc by an intelligence.

So when I look at the human body, it requires no faith to recognise the impossibility of chemicals and molecules forming themselves into functioning and reproducing systems and sub systems. Chemicals don';t make themselves into functioning intelligent systems over time. Chemicals break down over time. If you took even the simplest single celled organism and broke it down to a molecular level, you would not be left with anything that could even remotely make itself into its previous form. It is beyond the physical properties of the building blocks to assemble themselves. They require an intelligence to impose the specified functions that make up life.

Evolution is observable and testable. One does not require faith to believe in evolution. One need only pick up a magazine once in a while or visit a laboratory at a university.

i've got not considered it, even though it sounds like clarification at its maximum suitable. there are a number of people who attempt to combination the two together in a feeble attempt to maintain their delusions. actuality gets slightly too actual for them and that they rush to locate a manner that their particular deity would nicely be nicely suited with it, a minimum of of their concepts. If it works nicely, then others use it. it extremely is not something new. it extremely is anticipated. non secular human beings try this with each breath, on a daily basis of their lives, not purely in each interplay with others to justify their ridiculous claims, yet additionally of their very own minds with a view to maintain their delusional concept device. there is not something nicely suited between actual technology and creationism. the international develop into not made in 7 days, a pair of thousand years in the past. technology states that it develop right into some billion. The data help this. the two techniques are incompatible. they won't be able to the two be suited. The bible says guy develop into created on your god's image. in the beginning, which version of guy? the present one? Cro-magnon guy? Neanderthal guy? the user-friendly organisms which ultimately grew to develop into all of those? If it potential the present version, then you definately can wipe your a$$ with the pages of the bible, via fact the present version develop into something else completely not too till now. i'd desire to circulate on for chapters, even though it extremely is pointless. The non secular version of introduction and the medical data are thoroughly and fully incompatible. Any attempt to reconcile the two is basically pathetic clarification by potential of DEFINITION...

Christians would love to be able to label Atheist and all science as a religion. That way every time science is taught in school they could clam that the school was favoring one religion over another.

I don't understand. You do have faith in evolution. It is the only "alternative" to God.

    No.

Nobody has "faith" in evolution, and no one should start saying they do merely to appeal to scientific illiterates.

Better yet, start saying that you have "Faith in Maxwell's theory of electromagnetism" and then you can truly say...

"I have seen the the light!"

(I'm sorry, I'm giggling to myself as I write that :)

That is exactly what it is. Faith in evolution. There is no proof for evolution.

Who says evidence doesn't sway me? Generalizing a bit there? Many "Creationists" can be swayed by reason and logic. Perhaps they just don't view the argument as persuasive.
