Anyone with a good idea for making a nose grow?
I'm making a Pinocchio marionette and I want to make the nose grow. Does anyone know of someone doing it before or has any idea how I can do it.
The puppet will be life size (ie. the size of a small boy ....around 38")

Have no idea, but *highly* recommend you head to www.puppetsandstuff.com, a forum full of puppet makers, and ask there. A number of them make marionettes, and I'm sure someone will have a good suggestion, or will at least work the problems through with you.
I've tried marionettes once before, and don't really know of any good or simple ways to do it; sounds like a great idea though if you can pull it off!
(Life size? How are you going to operate it?)
