Why am I being affected by the full moon?

My memory is always affected when there is full moon. My skin seems to change in colour and I feel more hirsute than ever. Despite being a Vegetarian, I always crave for meat during the full moon period.

How normal is this?

Thanks for your help.

Some of those that have answered appear to know what they are talking about. Yes, the moon does affect human bodies because of its water and also certain magnetic forces that may create a "charge" on the body, giving you energy. That and, also, I saw someone mention that werewolves do not turn on the full moon...correct! At least they know what they are talking about. The full moon does not govern wolves or werewolves, but it can influence them to change (wolves are not the same as werewolves, just so you know...little different).

I cannot say you are a wolf or a werewolf because to do so would be even more thoughtless than those that deny their existence. It takes a fair amount of information to get an idea of WHAT you are. Like I said, I cannot give you a title, but you could easily be a human who simply enjoys the full moon. It is beautiful and tempting to certain people. But, who knows. Maybe you are, maybe you aren't. I have no right to say which and neither does anyone else.

Just enjoy Selene's beauty and bask in her silver pools of light upon the forest and field.

Every one goes a little nutty when a full moon is high in the sky. It is indeed a wonderful site to behold.

It has to do with the gravitational difference with-in the earths atmosphere between the moon and the earth during this time.

    Hope this has helped.

look at it this way. The moon has a very big effect on the tides of the ocean because of gravitanal force. The human body is,what like, 96% water stands to reason that there would be some sort of effect then

Because of a little phenomena known as self fulfilling prophecy. In other words, you think the full moon has power over people and so when there is a full moon you respond.

  • Because the pull on the Moon is much greater, making you a lot more weaker because you need that extra energy to repel against it. Which is why your body craves protein food such as meat.

You are effected by the full moon either because

    A) You are delusional

    or

    B) This is a really bad joke.

your body is made up of water, i'm not sure of the percentage, but i know it's high....if the moon can create the ocean's tides...it can affect your body also....i feel the effects of the full moon in that I am much more restless and always feel like I need to "howl"

well despite that sounding like lycanthrophy(sp?)

    [look it up]

the human body is made of about 80% water i believe

and the moon's gravity controls water on earth

    it messes with us

people with alzheimers or mental disorders are usually extravagent and crazy durung full moons

Um, i have ever heard a story that when full moon appears, there are some electromagnetic things that flows in the sky and affects our imagination.

    It could be that..
