I was wondering if Fedora can be personalized like ubuntu?
Ok i have Ubuntu at the moment and have some problems updating wise and internet wise! I dont like the fact that when i update ubuntu I dont know what its installing and it not being able to find all the files needed! I am a 4 month user of Linux. I like the custom effects ubuntu has like with compiz. I want to know if Fedora can do the things ubuntu can personalization wise to the way you want it to look? I also use the internet very often! Should I consider getting fedora? Thank you

YES, YOU CAN !
i tried both and they are pretty customized, when you say customized you mean as changing the general look, choosing a nice desktop picture or you mean as how files well be opened and organized?
i think you want find a trouble in ubuntu, just when you Click the notification arrow and it shows you all the packages you could download, just pick the ones you want and leave what you don't want behind.
that's why i think you shouldn't switch to fedora yet, stick in ubuntu for at least 6 month
hope that helped :)

Fedora and Ubuntu both run KDE or GNOME, so you can customize both in the same way. Fedora's a little less intuitive than Ubuntu for a non-linux fiend, but it's nothing too troubling. I got tired of Fedora's long boot time and slow updating, so I switched to Ubuntu. To each his own.
