How do I get get copyright for Beatles/Elvis songs?

I would like to make my own CD of Bealtes and other artist's songs to sell at various venues, I.E.; Open Mic Night - Showcases, etc. I plan to donate some of the money I earn from CD to a nonprofit organzation. How do I get copyright priviledge to do so?

You can never copyright the Beetles or the work of Elvis. Has already been done. How ever you can use the material but you have to pay.

Check with the Harry Fox agency for the amount of payment required. It is based on the number of CD's you plan to copy.

You can't get the copyright. It still hasn't expired yet.
