POLL: When your toothpaste tube is flattened out (hardly any toothpaste left), what do you do?

Do you throw it away and get a new toothpaste tube?

Or do you cut pieces of it open with a pair of scissors to retrieve the toothpaste that always stick to the interior of the tube - and repeat the process whenever you need toothpaste until there is REALLY no more toothpaste left?

:)

I keep cutting it down until there's not toothpaste left. Can't stand the thought of throwing it away when there's still some left in it.

Ugh, well it depends on when my mom is going to the grocery store next. If she just went, I'll cut the tube of toothpaste open. If shes going soon anyway, I'll just toss it.

  • Panic. lol. I could never go a day without brushing my teeth!

I would send my parents or boyfriend out to buy new toothpaste, I wouldn't go out and get it because I wouldn't have brushed my teeth.

OR I would cut it open and get the rest of the tooth paste and then go and buy some..:)

None of the above. I simply roll from the end which squeezes the tube flat as it goes, and finally when you can roll it no further, I toss it. The little bit which remains in the neck under the cap isn't enough to worry about.

Ancient legend has it if you fold the tube in half, sprinkle some mint root and a bit of Chilean rhubarb leaves, and close your eyes and wish, wish hard and you will get the tube to fill up once more!

i'd say cut it just for that time because if it is open, the next time you come to it things could get in the toothpaste and get stuck and you know YUCKY stuff from being put away
