=(( my pet crab!! people help me plz i lost him once and i dont want to loose him again!! plz help im desprate?

my pet crab, Emmette, was lost for 2 weeks without food or water, i just got him back i cryed nonstop for 3 hrs when i lost him. now he is back and he just lost a leg!! is that normal?? when ever my crabs loose there legs they die. please help i just don't want to loose him he is 8 months old that's how long i have ever had a pet please help!

    no no dont worry!!hes just molting!!!he didn't actually lsoe a leg hes shedding his old shell and growing a new one, becuase hes growing! I was really scared when my crab molted!every single claw, leg, and eye stalk came off! eww! but dont worry k? but buy him some new shells or else he will die, because when crabs grow, the constantly need bigger shells, and if they dont get bigger shells, or without a shell, they will die.

    i dont think losing a leg is normal but you should try taking it to the vet asap
