What possible crossbreed created these 2 type livebearer?
I have just purchased some really cool platies and swordtails. The swordtails are called "Yellow Albino Swordtails" and the platies are called "Tiger Stripped Platies". Would anyone here happen to what crossbreed both of them have been bred with??? This is my first time ever seeing swordtails with a yellow body with red on the sides and red eyes. The platies have mickey mouse tails and a white body with red stripes going down both sides of the body.

Most of the swordtails and platies in the pet trade are hybrids resulting from crosses of two or more species. Platies and swordtails all belong to the genus Xiphophorus, and most, if not all, of the species in this genus are inter-fertile (they can cross with each other and produce viable, fertile offspring). Xiphophorus maculatus and X. variatus are the most common platy species in the fancy livebearer hobby, and X. helleri and X. montezumae are commonly seen swortail species, but there are many other species in nature, and again, most of the fish offered for sale are interspecies hybrids. The "Mickey Mouse" platy undoubtedly has some X. maculatus ancestry, and the "Sunset" platies are at least partly descended from X. variatus.
The albino characteristic does not result from crosses, though. It is a spontaneous mutation that has occured several times in the stock of different breeders. The ones in question here are more properly described as leucistic or albanistic, not as true albinos, because they have yellow and red coloring instead of being white, but they do lack any dark (blue or black) pigments and they have red eyes, which is clearly an albino trait.
I still haven't seen any "tiger striped" platies. Could you post a picture, or a link to a picture?

Post some pix of these fish. "Yellow Albino" is somewhat contradictory in terms. Albino is th absence of color...so a yellow albino is just a white/yellow fish. Someone just keep crossing different colored swords to get this one and bred it true. I'd be interested in seeing them.

Livebearing fish can cross breed. But the fry can have complications and die. But it is possible for them to breed.
