What do you believe the importance of failure is?

learning from your mistakes. i think failure needs to be in our life. if we do not know of failure, then we wont be able to appreciate the meaning of success and striving for something. when you achieve something, and you worked hard for it, its the greatest feeling in the world.

I personally dislike the word "failure". The only failure I recognize is the concious effort of not trying. The importance of any "experiment" is learning what works and what doesn't. If no lesson is learned than the problem is bound to be repeated.

Some of my greatest strengthens have come from my failures... and learning from them, or the failures of others and learning from them..

To learn from your mistakes , gain experience and become less likely to do something wrong the next time
