Guitar/ Bass Guitar Straps?
Hey, just wondering, are guitar and bass guitar shoulder straps the same? My boyfriend plays bass and I want to buy him a new strap for Valentines and I just want to make sure I buy the right thing!

If his bass is heavy/expensive, I would recommend getting a wide suede strap. They are comfortable which is very important! I should really take my own advice actually! Ha ha!

They're fairly interchangeable. Some straps are wider, and these are often good if the bass is a bit heavier. The staff in the guitar store will be able to steer you in the right direction.

Well first comes design of course. All straps fit guitars, and basses, but you really should look more at design. They're pretty much interchangable...
Also length, makesure, if he plays low, that it can go low, and if he plays high, make sure its not too long, they're adjustable, but you can get shorter and longer ones.
