Ultra Sound Question?

OK ladies, on base they will not tell you what the sex of your baby is because it is not a medical need to know. There are signs posted all over the place that remind you of this and tell you NOT to ask.

So last night I was doing some research to see what I should be looking for to tell if I'm having a boy or a girl. The one thing that I read a lot of was 3 dots in a triangle. I did see this, and the US Tech pointed out my baby's legs to me, while she was measuring the leg bone I noticed nothing in between the two.

I wish I had a picture to share, but all they give you is a side profile of the head.

So based on what I saw, to you think it would be safe to assume that I'm having a girl.

Keep in mind I'm not running out today to go buy everything in pink, I get to go to an off base hospital for a 3D and 4D US, but I have to wait another 3 weeks because they don't tell you till you are 24 weeks.

Thanks ladies!

Update:

I know, I plan on waiting before I buy anything or give out names. I was just looking for opinions. :)

Update 2:

LOL bummy.. well I've had friends ask and the Tech just points to the GIANT sign on the wall.

Update 3:

From what I'm told most bases will be using this: Not a medical need to know, rule.

I'm at Misawa Air Base in Misawa Japan.

Update 4:

We'll be getting a few 3D's done. They are only 2000Yen, like $20 bucks US.

What base is this? All 3 of my boys were revealed by on post techs. Your tech was too by the book...I walked out of my u/s with several pics and descriptions. 3 weeks isn't too long though. You'll know soon enough. The wait is horrible but 3d/4d gives a much clearer view so they can't be wrong. If the 3d isn't too pricey, you should get another done toward the end too, they're great keepsakes!

They won't tell you what you are having? Hmm, that's weird. Every time I have a sono done I ask the reassure me. I was told if you see three white line in between the legs then it's a girl. They call it the hamburger sign. Google pictures of sono showing a boy and/or girl and see what yours looks like. That's really all I can tell you. I hope I helped. Good luck.

i'm particular it is plausible. even although, maximum Dr's would be sure a cleft lip in a three-D or 4D ultrasound. They make seeing the toddler's lip plenty less complicated/clearer. have been you informed your toddler is going to have a cleft lip? if so, you will possibly desire to ask with regard to the three-D test. it's going to provide you a clearer photograph of what's occurring. And who's familiar with, they might have been incorrect. If no longer, although... merely undergo in techniques a cleft lip may be certainly fixed. ultimate of success.
