honestly, im a hardcore football fan (soccer) and as much as i would love to see football become popular in USA, beckham had no impact what so ever. I think MLS teams should pick up young players from europe as well as some latin american coutnires such as brazil, argentina, uruguay, etc

I have been quite up until now! I am(was) a beckham supporter and I thought his coming would help not only the galaxy but the league. Now maybe the galaxy front office had no idea of how to handle a big international star, But beckham knowing that he wanted to go to South Africa 2010 should have stayed in europe and never come! He knew he wanted another world cup and mls being so young his chances were slim. His sole purpose should have been mls and the galaxy, If another WC was in the cards after that then great! He has always been a man of his word, But I am afraid he just showed us in america why we are glad were not english! Not to rip on english people but your boy has pissed me off. He is a liar and jerk off he will never be welcomed in this continent especially this state and city again. Take your b-otch and three kids and get the F^@K out of my country! Becks is a F'n turd sellout punk I am disappointed and relieved at the same time. Now we know, We have knowledge and that my friends is more valuable than anything! No other team in mls had the balls to try anything with the DP rule but now everyone will know what to do and what not to do. The galaxy did everything for him they bent over backwards even burning bridges with some players for him bad mistake on their part and they will have to live with it. It seems this fairy forgot, "The name in front of the jersey is always more important than the one in the back" for both club and country. in closing poetic justice would be that england do not qualify for 2010! Then we can crack open some COLD beers. By the way he better not EVER show up to a laker game, In LA we don't like sellout B!tches Shaq,Elton Brand, The lambs(rams) or the silver and wack(raiders)!

Beckham should definitely stay with Milan, he is enjoying himself and on top of his game in the Italian League. He also has a better chance of being called up for the English National Team with Capello and maybe even attending South Africa 2010 assuming England qualifies. MLS just brought him down and he really didnt do much with the Galaxy. I think Galaxy will take Milan's offer and let Becks stay with "Rossinero" Team. He still has alot to offer and what way to show it off than with one of the most important clubs in Europe, AC Milan.

Let him go. He didn't really bring that much to the MLS. He was oft-injured, and after the first appearance he made at each stadium, attendance dropped significantly. LA Galaxy would be much better off selling him to Milan. They can get two or three players for the same price, or sign a top Premier League or Spanish Premier League player, like Drogba or Tevez and still have the money to sign a decent American player.

if a good player goes on a big team as a momentary change, u r sure he will permanently move there, i am italian and i know how this things work... cause in Europe things like this r common... i am not a ac milan fan so i don't approve this... even bc beckam let ac milan to score 2 gol against Lazio (the team i support)... i knew it since i heard the rumors that beckam could have gone to ac milan, i am not surprised at all

I think he should stay in Italy in Milan, not come back to our crummy MLS. The Elite should play for an Elite team.

he's had an instant impact at milan and is playing great. he didnt have that in the mls. if he wants to prove that he can still play at a high level, its in his best interest to stay.
galaxy will gain nothing if they bring him back, he doesnt want to be there and an unhappy player is just bad for everyone.
