Have you ever been in a very serious situation and just burst out laughing?

I find myself in these very serious situations, and something as small as a pen drop will make me burst out laughing and have everyone staring at me... I know, I need help lol. I think I just laugh in awkward situations.

Update:

And you know, everybody's all serious like.. and something strange happens like a bird flys into the window.. I just laugh so hard and try to controll it..

Good for you ! Did you know these 5 facts about laughter ??

    1. Laughing 100 times roughly equals 15 minutes on an exercise bike? Vigorous laughter increases the heart rate deepens the breathing rate, and uses muscles in the face, stomach, and diaphragm.

    2. Aside from improving our moods, laughter can reduce stress, help fight infection, and reduce pain.

    3. The levels of two stress hormones, cortisol and epinephrine which suppress the body's immune system, will actually drop after a dose of laughter.

    4. Laughter causes positive changes in brain chemistry by releasing endorphins, and it brings more oxygen into the body with the deeper inhalations.

    5. Laughter releases anger, fear, guilt, anxiety and tension.

So now, keep on laughing and enjoy it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes. Usually it starts with a tiny, moderately humorous, thought which I'm able to contain but I immediately follow it up with a thought of how inappropriate (and therefore funny) it would've been to have laughed, at which point I laugh. Recently I have trouble avoiding this situation when my wife and I are having a supposedly serious discussion. If you ever really want to piss off a partner, I suggest giving this a try.

ya i always laugh when something awkward is happening. I think it's because it's a reaction to release the stress you're feeling from the situation. You could try biting your tongue or something to keep yourself from laughing.

Laughing is an involuntary action. U cant stop urself from laughing.

By the way, laugh while u still can my dear, trust me, there will reach moments in life, when u will want to laugh but u will fail.
