Now that NH has thrown down the gauntlet...?

How do you think things will progress?

http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/legislation/2009/H...

I know that it is a pretty boring read, but more revolutionary and patriotic words have not been spoken since 1776. Please read before commenting.

PS Thanks to fchyenne for bringing this up in a different question.

Update:

Wes: Too true.

William F: Thanks! Didn't realize this was actually a movement. 42 states to go. I am /thoroughly/ shocked that my state of Taxachusetts isn't on the list yet.

Everyone else: Thanks for participating and keep it coming. A free flow of ideas (pro and con) is what this country used to be about. Hopefully we can get back there.

I'm sending this to the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Virginia! My home state, Not A Provence, you in DC better remember that!

46(or so) minutes later: I just sent a note to my Senator, the Hon. Ralph Northam (D), I'm letting you know so as to let him know that many people will be aware that he has received that link!

honestly, i don't know enough about paganism. i know a little bit, but not a lot. what i do know though, from my pagan (wiccan) friends, is that they are more open-minded than most christians and more willing to discussing all the possiblities rather than just saying "i'm right, you're wrong" all the time. also because the wiccans i know don't blindly deny science and because they worship something that can be proven (nature). i still don't quite get it, merely because i am atheist and can't fathom the belief system, but to me it makes a bit more sense. so no, i don't think you're nuts. i don't think anyone is nuts actually for following any religion. what i think is nuts is blindly following a religion without taking everything there is to know into account before choosing. beyond that though, i hold a higher respect for anyone who doesn't force their beliefs on others. i've never had a wiccan come knocking on my door trying to convert me. i have had open and honest discussions with my friends but they have never once tried to convince me to believe what they do. i cannot say the same for most christians i know.

Seven other states have followed suit. Claiming Sovereignty under the 10th Amendment. Here is the link.

All 8 states have pending legislation. You can view each bill.

Brown this has nothing to do with race. Leave you hate filled politics at the door.

If the states all come to agreement on this and get on board we may avoid a civil war, and Marshal law. But time is indeed running out.

    Maybe and nobody heard it.

NH won't be missed and the in lies the idea that Democrats would lose two seat in the Senate and they can't afford that.

So nice jester but little substance.

Yes, but when the feds start withholding funds (like federal highway funds when some states whated to keep the drinking age at 18) you'll see this start to fade away.

While I certainly agree in principle, nullification was effectively quashed in the 1830's.
