can money buy confidence?

I've done a few google research on this matter, but found no answers. So please help out.

I've learned about great leaders who were so confident even though they were poor.

But in today's world, would you be so confident in what you do if there's a hole in your bank account?

    Confidence comes from inside. No amount of money can make you more confident, unless you want to be confident you can afford something like a Ferrari. Even mobsters who have the money to pay off their underlings are worried about getting whacked.

    If you believe in something you need to have the confidence, money won't make you any happier about your decisions.

    Now ask me if money can buy happiness and I'll give you a different answer.
