Is the Wii game any good?

Nothing, we had ours a week after launch. Focus on buying Wii exclusives for the best experiences, especially the ones produced by Nintendo. You can also download lots of older games for the NES, SNES, N64, Sega Master System, Genesis, TurboGrafx 16 & Neo-Geo.

Disclaimers: Yes We also own a 360 that gets as much play time as our Wii, and a working SNES that is still played, but not as much as the other two.

You mean the Wii console, right?

As fun and innovative as the Wii is, there is one fatal flaw that could potentially hold one back from buying it; not many good games.

The Wii's game library consists mostly of crappy third party titles and kiddie games.

Still, I would say that the few games for the Wii that are worth playing (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports, and De Blob, among others) make the Wii console worth buying, especially considering its reasonable price.

It depends on the games you get, when we first got it my little sister loved it (she's 7) and so did my mom... I'm not into games so i didn't really like it. If you're looking into it to lose weight then i don't know if it's perfect for you, i saw an article saying that wii probablly isn't the best game ... look into it a bit more.

I got one, it's the equivalent to a Gamecube with motion...I personally thought it was the best thing ever when I first bought it but about 2 weeks later got burnt out on it until the Twilight Hack and Homebrew channel came out and I could use emulators on the wii to play my old favorite games...it's really not that bad of a console but definitely behind the 360 and ps3...
