How do you buy a pet from a pet store in Sims 2 pets?
I have The Sims 2, Sims 2 pets, Sims 2 Nightlife, and Sims 2 Celebration! Stuff. I want to buy a pet from the pet store in my neighborhood called "Pepe's Pet Store" but I can't. When I click on the cage (I want to buy a bird) it only lets me feed it, hold it, etc. but not buy it.

Hey! For pets, to buy a cat or dog you must go to your pepe's pets and click on the dog or cat cage and customize your cat/dog. If you want a bird or hamster it's much easier! When you're home simply go to the buying cataloge. Go into miscellaneous, then pets and purchase a bird cage. After placing it in your house click stock cage and it'll ask you to name the bird and what color. And voila!!
If you get a hamster or parent DONT put it in you're bedroom. they'll constantly wake you up. I discovered this the hard way

i'm alittle confused. you dont have to go to the pet store to but a bird you can buy it from home in the buy mode....it should be in the pets section

Best Buy and Circuit City are the best place to buy it, you could also order it online, but you would have to pay shipping and handling, so if you live near a mall, go there. They will have it.
