Is Mexico doomed to self destruction?

The border to Mexico will be closed to U.S. citizens well before, and if Mexico crashes, because the U.S. is insolvent NOW.

The central government in Mexico City will simply be replaced by the Drug Lords, who already control the northern part of the country. The flood of illegals in to the US will depend more on the US response to their presence and the US economy. The best way to keep the illegals out is already being taken by the federal government, which is spending itself silly into a deep hole which will end only with national bankruptcy and the collapse of the US military. At that point the Mexican drug dealers will be able to just walk in unhindered and take over California, New Mexico, Arizona and Texas, while the communist Chinese take over the rest. It is the US that is doomed. Mexico is already gone.

When the US crashes, it will probably take Canada & Mexico with it. The Mexicans are better prepared to survive hard times than Americans. They are used to having hard times and doing without.

Shut off the lights & water to Los Angeles and see what happens, the same thing wouldn't be as severe in Mexico.

Mexico may have to come under martial law to control the drug trafficers, but the US is also planning on martial law if this depression gets deep enough. A lot of people are unhappy about the bail outs and huge payoffs for CEOs when we the people are on hard times.

There may be a lot of Mexicans in the US, but it is NOT the Mexicans that blow things up and have sworn to the destruction of America.

I think this year that Americans will be free to pick lettuce and other crops on the ranches, as many Mexicans have gone home. This will free up lots of work in the fields for us to fill. I have picked beans and strawberries and it is time for Americans to learn how to work again..

No, which is why the illegal alien problem is solve with a better Mexico. What you don't know is all of the problems in Mexico are pretty much in the north. Mexico city and Monterrey have some of the riches people in the world, Mexicans who could pass as white people.

But in a way, illegal aliens are good for the US. In bad economies illegal aliens don't bother to jump the fence due to lack of jobs. In good economies illegals run over the fence. I'll take the illegals if it means we can get out this hell of a recession.

BTW, it's estimated that illegals save the US over $500 million dollars in production cost due to being paid near nothing for hard work. That's a hell of a lot more than what they burn in tax payer dollars. Hell, even if they didn't burn tax payer dollars the government would just blow it on some CEO's bailout bonus anyway.

This whole story is scary. I live in an area with many Mexican migrant workers (north of Metro Atlanta). The folks I know say these drug lords are unbelievably violent and merciless. I am told that the drug lords not only control the government...they are the government. But my own belief is that the well meaning drug laws of America give the dealers a profitable market. But one thing is apparent...these thugs have no fear of American law enforcement.

i can't believe there can be many mexicans left in mexico ......looking atarizona and california .....mexico might doom america ......when third world moves to first world, out numbers first worlders, who is going to pay ?

there is a similar problem in britain with the massive influx of poorly educated people from asia and africa ......some cities are overwhelmed

i think america needs to toughen up its border controls....for the sake of the people of america

US will either intervene before, or seal the border completely (with airborn patrols and killing the ones trying to cross it from the aircrafts).

No, unfortunately not because we will probably intervene. Illegals are already to much of a burden on the US so more would be terrible.
