MS Word: how do I "attach" a graph to the page?

If I insert a graph into my text, it seems to be attached to the text rather than to a position on the page. Then if I add some text or delete some text this graph ends up shifting in a weird way resulting in blank spaces left behind. How do I fix that?

I'm currently using Office 2003.

Right click on the graph, 'Format object', 'Wrapping' and 'Square'

Idk what it is on Office 2003, cos I have the vista version. But it should be something very similar.

    Hope this helps.
