Which UK brand of butter is best for making cupcake icing?

This question was asked in the U.S. YA. by an American in England. Her icing comes out runny. I have been told that some butter in the U.K. is blended with water to make a lower fat, easier to spread product. Can someone help?

Update:

Thank you Bob. I have passed this on and given credit to you. I will welcome any other answers as well.

Update 2:

Cornish Granny, I do not have her recipe but icing is the same here. I suspect she was using one of the blends. As you say they are largely water.

None of the soft butters in a tub they have vegetable oil added. Any block butter ie: anchor, or lurpack or country life. Icing in the UK is water and icing sugar, buttercream is butter and icing sugar, so what is she using ?.
