Okay now, it's riddle time!?
This riddle is pretty easy.
Okay, let's say there's this kid who's about to go to sleep.
There are no light switches in his room or any triggers to the lamp, except a single switch that's on the lamp only. The lamp is 20 feet away from his bed. How can he turn off the light and be in bed before the room is dark? Think about any other things he could have in his room.

He has a 20 foot rod with which he turns off the lamp!!!.

1. have someone else who is in the room turn off the light
2. call someone to the room to come turn the light off
those are the first two I could think of

It's light outside...he opens the curtains, then turns off the switch, and then closes the curtains again.

take a brick and chuck it at the lamp.
edit : ok then, he takes a rope and does it cowboy style - lassooing it around the lamp and chugging it towards him
