How many tones of C02 will planting a tree absorb?
What else can I do to offset C02 emissions?

That is a bit like saying I'm gonna plant some tomatoes but I really need potatoes.
Why do you want to offset CO2? Why not work on ways to reduce its production? Then there would be no need for offsets.
Offsets are a nice way of doing nothing about the real problem. And that is the ever-increasing tonnage of CO2 that is produced each year.
Mucking around with offsets can't achieve any worthwhile effect. For every ton of CO2 you absorb by planting a tree, 10 tons will be released by people burning ever more coal and oil.
I admit that every bit of CO2 that is removed from our air is going to help a bit. That help is totally overwhelmed by all the extra CO2.

The best way is to ignore them, increased co2 will encourage plant growth which will suck up more co2.
Or go the way of china, the US and Europe have recently applauded China's intention to count abortions as carbon credits, the people behind the global warming scam are sick.

The problem is the rate of CO2 emission is faster & greater than it can be absorbed by the trees.
Is this a math question?
Coz the solution is more than our ability to count.
