Unfortunately microsoft paint is so outdated in technology terms that you can't. But you may depending on the format be able to put the image into word for example and stretch it that way. Paint works in pixels an 1 pixel stretched becomes 4 times the size of the origional in the same colour. think say if you stretch an elastic band it looks weird.

Unfortunately Microsoft Paint is incapable as a photo/image editor. Any image you bring into the program can not be enlarged without pixel degradation. Unless the image is large and high-resolution to begin with, you won't be able to enlarge it using MS Paint. You can use a free program such as Google's Picasa to enlarge the image, but like I said, the image has to be high-resolution (300 dpi for print or 72 dpi for older monitors; this depends on what you are using it for). The old adage for Photoshop users is: Garbage In=Garbage Out. To truly enlarge an image with little pixel degradation, you are going to have to spend some money for a dedicated enlarger program.

The only thing you can do on MSpaint for that is the stretch/skew option on the image menu on the top, and just changing it by percentage. If you want better quality, use another program like photoshop or an online editor.

I don't think you can. Microsoft paint is a very primitive software in resizing photos. Your best bet is to edit images in Photoshop.

or go to a FREE web-based photoshop alternative:

first attempt!your very good..If you want to train as graphic artist go to a local Art College and a General Art &Design Course NVQ or BTEC Avoid the 1 yr Foundation courses as they rush through stuff without doing anything properly and tend to be taught by clapped out hippies who tend to be anti-graphics ,computers or cars.Loughborough Uni does an Industrial Design degree which seems right up your street.. Best of luck.

paint sucks for that, have you tried picasa from google?

paint just sees size and resolution as the same thing

you can't do this in Paint, but neither do you need something as complex as Photoshop to do it either.

All of the programs listed at http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/pixelbasedwin/tp/... can do what you want.

Irfanview - http://www.irfanview.com/ - is another easy to use program.

    stretch/skew.

if you do it little by little, adjusting the numbers and saving it after you do it each time.
