Experienced traveler and photographer looking to adventure guide?

Looking for a starting point with resume and cover letters in hand. Does anybody have a good starting point or even a service that would help me get started in the adventure guiding business?

Location doesn't matter. I am ready to travel the world.

Thanks in advance.

Yes Trunorth... I have an idea for you...

You do have a boat right?

Did you know that Robin Lee Graham (first teenager to sail the world alone) started out with only a paid for boat and $27.00 in his pocket. (Of course, this was in the 1960's - but what the heck.)

Point being... National Geographic picked up on his adventure and story - and after he appeared on three covers - then a book - then a movie... Robin Lee Graham never "had" to work another day in his life. He and his wife (who he met and married along his solo voyage around the world) are now missionaries.

Now - another friend of mine has done the same - only not yet on such a grand scale. He photographed and documented his trips from Miami to Bimini - and presto! He now has his second book ready for publication...

What is needed - is a "Triple AAA Book" if you will - a road map with instructions, pictures, and list of best places to stop, go, see, and do - (as well as avoid) along America's Great Loop.

What you need to do is hop in your boat and make the trip with camera, GPS, log book - and a "Triple A Trip Book and Ticket" as a guide for boaters -

Leave off all the personal stuff, and the ego stuff - and write a "trip guide" that any idiot first time boater could use to make this trip.

Your market is a big one... On any given moment - about 3,000 people are actually making the trip - and another 300,000 are dreaming of making the trip. Do a trip tick well, and you are easily looking at a $69.00 retail value on each.

Course, if this is not adventurious enough for you - you could volunteer as a "Photo Journalist" on one of those cruise ships or freighters that are passing through the area of the Pirates off the coast of Somalia... Course, you'd get free room and board for about a year - and with any luck, have a number one best seller when you returned. - (just a thought).

At any rate - wish I could help you out more -

    Good Luck!

    Happy & Safe Boating.

    Capt. John
