  • Good photography seminar to take the next step?

Looking for a photography seminar in Nov. or Dec. that will help me take the next step beyond shooting good photos with a DSLR. I want to learn how to take great photos with the camera and then couple that with real learning on the PhotoShop program. I want depth in my photos and real contrast that I see in semi pros and pros. Thanks for the help.

  • Is my LCD screen betraying me?

Taking photos of the moon on Saturday and last night I was loving the exposure on the LCD screen of my camera. (Canon) Then when I download to the computer they are not what I saw on the camera. Usually looking underexposed I might add this is not what I experience when taking other exposures. So my question: how do I interpret moon shots/long exposures on the LCD? How can I add the information of the histogram to help with this quandry?

    Thanks. TrueNorth

  • Moon shots: How do I reduce the corona around the moon?

Saturday night I was taking moon shots and they came out nearly tack-sharp. Then last night, using almost the same exposure they were showing with a corona around the moon. What gives? Atmosphere? Dirty lens? (I took the UV filter off, no help). Can you provide any guidance?

    Thank you. TrueNorth
