Pregnant Female Guppy. What is the problem?

Ok...this morning I saw 1 tiny fry sitting on the bottom of my breeder tank. Since 3 females are pregnant...I had to narrow it down to which one was in labor. When I finally found the one giving birth(she was the only one hiding out) I observed her for a while and instead of a fry dropping out...this brown syrup like liquid was oozing out of her as if she was making a bowel movement. What could that have been??? It been like 6 hours and she has only dropped 3 fry total but yet she is still in hiding and very much still holding some fry. Why is it taking her soo long to finish? This is not her first batch but her 3rd and I have never seen her nor any guppy go through this. Please help?

I don't know what the liquid was but the fry could be born all at once, hours from now, or a week from now. You'll have to watch for a while.
