Do you really need to buy a wireless router with a wireless adaptor?
Hello everyone, I want to buy a wireless router for my laptop(wi-fi ready) but I don't know if I really need to buy a "wireless router adaptor" with it. Do I really need to? what's the difference without it?

A wireless router provides a wireless service that a computer can connect to.
A wireless adaptor lets a computer connect to a wireless service.
If the laptop claims to be Wi-Fi ready, then it has a built in wireless adaptor and you don't need a second one for that computer.

Hey.
I'm sure you'll be happy to hear that you will not have to buy a wireless router adaptor for your laptop as it's already WiFi ready.
Just hock your router up and then connect!

in case you prefer to bypass instant, you internet to have a community setup utilising a instant router. there is not any way around that. What does the instant router do? It surely takes information in (such because of the fact the relationship to the internet) and distributes it to all the different computers on the community. the different computers on the community ought to "communicate" to that router. that is achieved in a million of two strategies: #a million. instant #2. under pressure in case you're doing #a million, you ought to have a working laptop or computing device that has a geared up-in instant card. nearly all of latest laptops (and a few computers...lots fewer however) have already got the instant enjoying cards geared up in. in the event that they don't have a geared up in card, you ought to purchase the adaptor. #2. that's ordinary a cable referred to as an ethernet cable. they are oftentimes blue or yellow in shade. Plug one end into your computing device and the different into the router. from now on questions? private message me!

ok check this out.. it says wifi ready.. most likely saying it CAN be wireless but probably is not. so get yourself a router see if your laptop will pick it up if it does rock on. if it doesn't get a pcmcia card adapter to connect to it. but from personal expierence wifi ready means there is no wifi built-in it just means it COULD be wireless.
