In the past, you had to have each team draft their keepers as the first rounds of the draft. Yahoo has a keeper ability in plus leagues. I think that Yahoo may be coming out with a new keeper module for regular free leagues when it opens in a few days.

You would start a new league and manually put any kept players on each roster, and then hold your draft. Another posibility is just announcing which players are off limits for a draft and if anyone violates the rule, force them to drop and kick them out if they meant to do it.

yahoo doesn't do those. you could fake it and put in your players from last year, assuming you play with an honest bunch, but yahoo doesn't have that option.
