How do you create a file of jpegs on a PC?
On a Mac I would select some jpegs and then click File/Create Archive and that would put them in one archive file. How do you do that on a PC? Is it built into XP Home or do you need 3rd-party software?

Go to MyDocuments/MyPictures and make a new folder, then copy/paste your jpeg files from where ever they are to the filein MyPictures or when downloading or saving your pictures, save to MyDocuments/MyPictures/(your file).

Only the second answer is the one you need to consider.
You could also create a new folder on the C drive.
Highlight C then go to file / new / folder. Name it (? My Pictures) and click OK.
Then transfer your jpegs to it.
If you want to sort into different classifications you can use sub folders.
For example highlight the My Pictures folder then file / new / folder and name it relative to content whether it's holiday, family, wedding etc.
Seems a bit more fiddly than the Mac method seems to be but it's effective.
