At least I got some free entertainment out of watching a bunch of PETA people making fools of themselves.

Most of them have gone completely off the deep end. They are beginning to sound more and more like a cult all the time. They are also very hypocritical since the neglect to acknowledge the fact that they are in boo koo trouble for euthanizing animals they say they were rescuing from animal controls that were going to euthanize. They even want to stop people from eating any fish of any kind which would cause a huge portion of the world to starve to death. I think we all want the ethical treatment of animals but most of us are reasonable human beings and are aware of reality. I do believe that PETA would like to see all pet ownership and any association with animals done away with. They need to get a grip on reality. Not every one associated with PETA has lost it but a large part of the leadership has. I totally agree with you.

I think that what they did is ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with wanting to get the best pure bred dog there is. That doesn't mean that mutts are any less dog than purebreds. PETA does do some good but they do go way too far, especially with KKK but now a days people find the smallest thing to complain about. Here is just another example.

  • PETA has been going way to far for years. I'm afraid that we still haven't seen just how far they'll go.

I doubt that PETA's KKK protest will have much of an impact. People don't equate purebred dogs with white supremacy, and most love Westminster.

Oooh I hate PETA. They went too far 20 years ago when they spray painted baby fur seals bright pink.

They are dumb, and I don't think they put much thought in to their actions.

And have you ever watched a video with the president of PETA? Talk about a dumb snobby b****. The vice president also said no one should use insulen for diabetes, because they use animal products. But wait, she is diabetic, and she uses it.... hypocritical much? It's ok for others to die but not her. They also stated it is easier to euthanize an animal then care for it. 9,000$ walk in freezer?

I LOVE animals. But PETA needs to be disbanded, NOW! They are CRAZY. Releasing all domestic animals, which hey, are man made, and the majority would either die in the wild, or kill native species by taking over the land and resources.

That's what they're best at...going too far... Have you seen the hand outs comparing the AKC to the KKK? It makes me sick. Heaven forbid someone wants a certain type of breed to love. Oh wait! We shouldn't want pets at all, should we? My dogs lounging on the bed right now sure are mistreated! I think they got really bad when they started harassing people with service animals. That did it for me.

When has PETA not gone to far?

But yes putting on KKK garb to demonstrate constitutes domestic terrorism in my book.

The same as burning a cross or going into an airport and saying there is a bomb

I get the message that PETA is trying to get out (who wouldn't want to treat animals ethically), but seriously KKK gear? Totally offensive. Whoever came up with that idea needs to be jailed. So yes, I definitely think they've gone too far.

First it was coffins, then the Holocaust now the KKK, and lets not forget sea-kittens.

They need to go on down and check on those sea kittens and have a nice conversation with the sharks. I will provide the chum.

It just shows they are a cult since KKK is associated with bad. Good job they have now associated themselves with bad without trying!

They always go too far. One day a circus came into town and they lined up our streets with naked ladies in cages painted as random animals.
