Did it sound like A-Roid blamed the fans for him taking roids?

"When I arrived at Texas in 2001, I felt an enormous amount of pressure; I felt like I had all the weight of the world on top of me and I needed to perform and perform at a high level every day."

Sounds like to me he is placing blame on the fans for expecting allot out of him after he got the $250 mil contract.Just goes to show how shallow these ball players really are.

It doesn't sound like he's blaming the fans, but his fellow players. He sounded like he couldn't be content with being one of the best players, he had to be THE best.

Are you serious? Did you listen to the interview? He said he was stupid, naive, young, etc. and apologized to his fans (ESPECIALLY the ones in Texas) about a million times. He wasn't at all blaming the fans for the pressure he felt. Seems to me like you already had a pre-conceived notion of A-Rod before you wrote this question.

Pressure in Texas???? Yeah, maybe if he was the Cowboys QB. Pressure....that's a good one.

Now NY is a different story.
