I am trying to edit a document on WordPad but I have a problem. Can you help please?

When I press the enter key to move to a new line the cursor skips a line. By this I mean:

Instead of

it does

this :(

    You should be using the Enter key only when you need a new paragraph and then enter twice so you get a blank line in between the paragraphs. Otherwise, just keep typing as the words will automatically wrap to the next line when it gets to the right margin.

    If indeed you are entering just once between the paras, you may be in double or one and a half spacing by mistake, so just highlight all text and change to single spacing by using Ctrl1. Unfortunately wordpad is pretty basic and you don't have the line spacing, text alignment etc icons available.

    Hold down Ctrl and push 1. This will put it into single spacing. Ctrl + 2 will put in double space
