my pci slots don't work.?
I change my mother board, with same one. but now my PCI slots in this new mother board appear not working, I try to connect a new modem into the PCI slots, but my computer not find the new hardware, the add a new hardware wizard, no show up to tell me that I have a new hardware installed, I have 6 PCI slots in the mother board and I try everyone of them and same problem with them. when I try to put the software (CD) in to my CD-rom, the computer tell me that the CD no have any information to install the modem. I check the boot area (F1) and the PCI slots are in "auto".
someone have any suggestion, that can help me resolved this problem.

I can't sent it back, I change something in it. I run a reg cure registry, and give me this errors, but with this program I can fix the error because is not mine. and also is not register, so I can't used to help me. the error are:
COM/ACITVE X ENTRIES
APPLICATION PATH
WINDOW STARTUP ITEMS
FILE/ PATH REFERENCES
PROGRAM SHORCUTS
EMPTY REGISTRY KEY
Some one have any other Idea? desperate here...

I would suggest the 'new' motherboard has problems. I have rarely seen a massive PCI failure such as you seem to be describing. If you have another PCI card, such as a network card, try installing that. Watch in the POST, the text that flashes by before the OS loads, and see if you see ' network controller' somewhere. If you miss it , your 'Found New Hardware" wizard thingie will pop up. If it doesn't, IMHO your Mboard has failed and it should be returned for another one.

well the mother slot my be a different make or model. If it is not that than it might be a small internal fan in the rear of the PCI it might be jammed if none of this works please contact me(828-385-2772)
