Exactly WHY is the Sims 3 delayed?

Some sources say because of poor-business choices, and that EA want's to advertise it better. =( Other sources say that the game needs to cook a little longer, and so there working on making the game itself even better. =) So...which reason is it? Or, which source is more reliable???

(PS: I personally think that delaying a game because of poor-business choices, IS a poor-business choice!!! There is SOOO much Maxis could be adding to the game!!!)

    The reason is EA knew you were looking forward to it and they hate you.

    All games get delayed either to improve something they wanted to add in the game before it was released or to fix some bugs.
