Shaq... especially in his Orlando days... Thats when he was alot skinnier, and he was amazingly quick...

Plus, aside from the stats, Shaq had better post moves and was always a better passer... Plus he had a high B-Ball IQ...

Strenth is not a question... THe dude was breaking rims.... Dwight probably jumps higher but thats about it

Shaq. Howard has pretty much NO post moves at all except spin and dunk. Shaq in his Orlando days and Dwight right now are basically all athleticism and strength. Shaq wins. He would just get everyone out of his way and jam over everyone if he had to.

Shaq had more tricks in the bag. Just put it that way. He could pass out of the double team, set up his teamates, and he could create his own shot at any given time. Pretty much he was running the offense at the center position.

Shag's better,better power dunker,better post moves,better inside shooter and scorer and also rebounds and blocks.Dwight has higher jump on Shag.In the strentgh Shag was better no Q about it.Dwight is better free throw shooter!!But Shag's better,the most dominating player and force in the nba all time and best dunking centre on the list ahead of Malone and Hakeem

defiantly Shaq  during his  Orlando days he was  already considered one of the greatest C's of  also during his time with  time in his Orlando days and was selected into the  "NBA's 50 greatest players of all-time" for the NBA's 50th anniversary  not just that but he carried Orlando to there first ever Finals.
