Is the Playstation eye worth getting?

The video quality is very good in a well lit room also the 4 mics it has can capture even the ticking of the clocks(if u set the mic volume high). the still image quality is alright... not bad for a fixed focus camera, I got it as a bundle with the game Eye Of Judgment.

It works as advertised but what do you plan on using it for? Its a sweet toy but its uses are very limited. There are only a handful of games that use it (Eye of Judgment, Singstar, and a few PSN games) and there are better ways to video chat (Skype). If you can find it for cheap, go ahead, but if its more than $30 it's probably not worth it.

yeah it does work well nice for those games that support it so yeah it is

i think u just use it as a mic (ingames) and video calls (convosation)
