how to get diesel off of concrete?

I have tried everything I can think of. From Dawn dish soap to chemicals from the Auto supply store. Anyone have a "home" remedy that might work better? Thank You!

Update:

I have tried kitty liter ...it works great on plain gas or oil but not diesel. Thanks

Trisodiumphosphate (TSP) will lift diesel fuel out of concrete. It can be purchased at any hardware store. Chances are that the DAWN took out most of the fuel and you are left with just the stain. The TSP should remove the stain too. Pick up a pair of disposable rubber gloves while you are there; TSP is not friendly to human skin.

Have you tried a product called simple green? If not, you should find it at Wal Mart. It's very strong, biodegradable, and versatile. Pour enough to cover the stain and scrub, and rinse off. If that doesn't work....try some brake parts cleaner, it will smell, use a rag you are about to throw away, and wipe it up immediately.
