Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch fans...?

I predicted that the #24 and #18 would both find their way into victory lane today for the duels, and I was right both times. Congrats to Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch for their wins today. And congrats to all of the drivers that made their way into the field for the Daytona 500.

So Gordon fans, Busch fans, and NASCAR fans, what did you think of the races today? And what do you think of Jeff and Kyle's chances at a Daytona 500 victory on Sunday?

He surely has come back with a vengeance. I couldn't be happier for him, and this year ought to be exciting. I personally didn't get to see the races, but from what I heard, they were both outstanding. And hopefully the injured crew member will be okay.

Gordon has the winless season on his mind, for sure, so I expect a hard run come this sunday. As for Kyle, you can never count him out.

Source(s): By the way firestorm, we both have Jeff Gordon victory lane pics! Just thought I'd point that out.

The races were great today and I have a very good feeling that Jeff Gordon will win the 500.

Congrats Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch fans!! I'm glad Jeff won it, he deserved it.

To be honest with you, I wouldn't mind seeing Jeff Gordon in victory lane, and thats defiantly a possibility, yet it's Daytona, and anything can and will happen.

I was very excited for Jeff Gordon. I'm not a fan of Kyle Busch, but he did a good job today. I think they both will do well, but I think Jeff could really pull it off and win. Although Kyle is a good driver, Jeff has a lot more experience, and I think this is his year. I really hope Jeff wins.

I predicted them both to win today as well, no lie!

I am a big Kyle Busch fan.

I don't particularly like Gordon but I like him more now than I have over the previous years.

I think they are both going to be considerably tough and have great cars.

I think Kyle will win the Daytona 500.

I feel like Jeff desperately needed some momentum heading into the 500. He looked good in the Shootout, but faded towards the end. I think that he's got a good shot this year to win. Busch is looking strong as well, and should also be a threat

  • You did a great job ! Jeff and Kyle both looked real good today.I think they both have a excellent chance of winning the 500 but you know who I will be pulling for !

I'm going to Vegas in March, can I borrow you to hit some casino's. I picked Jeff to win the first one and Dale Jr for the 2nd one, I guess I was half right.. I think Jeff Gordon has a better chance of winning the 500 cause I think odds are against him, he has a loosing streak going in, but it would be so cool seeing him hold Ella again in victory lane, ending his points race loosing streak. But I'm still gonna cheer for Dale Jr. I just think with the crazy off season, WHO knows who is gonna win the 500, but I can't wait..Whooooo hooooooo!!!

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

We need to go to Vegas together, that's what I think. Both driver's are obvious favorite's to win Sunday. Today's event's were just a prelude to what will be an awesome 500. Glad to see Kurt rebound the way he did. He will be a factor raceday.
