what you want to do is turn your truck into a pre-runner. That is a 2wd that looks like a four by four.

You should be able to find a decent lift kit for your rig....to lift it up. I would tell you to find a suspension lift though. body lifts suck.

This person that had this truck did it only for the looks and did it a pretty cheap way to make it look good. Since a body lift is a generic lift. It only lifts the body off the frame to get lift. The gap guards go in between the bed of the truck and the frame so you cant "see through" the truck. from the body lift.

The 3.73 gears are pretty high and are probably what came stock on the truck. Since with those gears and tires set up you will be burning up your transmission (auto) or clutch (std) pretty darn fast.

The rock crawler wheels are solid black spoke wheels that have a beadlock "look" to them. Since actually running beadlocks are illegal on the highways. Beadlocks are actually wheels that have screws that screw directly into the tire, to keep it from popping off the bead at low air pressure off road. Lowering your air pressure gives you more traction off road by the way.

Source(s): I've been building fully custom muscle cars and 4x4's for about 15yrs ****feel free to shoot me an email if you want to go more in depth about what you can do to your truck. As far as the other person said about getting new brake lines, when you buy a lift kit they come with extensions for your brake lines. Or you can buy longer custom stainless braided lines for your rig also.

Labor will be the big cost...

Without labor here are some estimates:

    Gears: $150-300

    Lift: $1000-2000

    Tires & Rubber: $1500-3000

    K&N Cold air: $200

    Gap Gaurds: $100-300

    Tinted windows: $100-300

    Bedliner: $500

    Then add in labor.

I just noticed you also asked what the parts meant so I will add this:

I5 3.73 Gears - This changes the amount of times your tires rotate in comparision to your driveshaft. This can be used to increase the takeoff of a car, or to componsate for tire sizes.

4" Skyjacker suspension lift -Lifts your truck using the suspension components

3" PA body lift -Lifts your truck using the body

    35 x 12.5 x 15 Mickey Thompson MTZ -Big tires

15 x 8 Rock crawler rims - Rims that probably have bead locks on them so they dont pop off the rim when bouncing.

Skyjacker shock absorbers -Shocks to go with the lift.

K&N Cold air intake - Increase air flow to the motor for more power.

Gap guards - cover the gaps you will have from lifting.

    Hope the info helps.

big thing here is the labor also there are little things that most people forget like when you lift your truck its not just the lift you pay for you also need new longer break lines. total i'd guess the stuff to be around 8000 and installed close to 15000 you are really better off trading your truck in on a new chevy 1500 4X4 with a z71 package if you have that kinda money to spend on your truck it will be a more capable vehicle.

Yeah, it will look cool and kill you at the gas pump, why not sell it and buy a 4wd?

Putting all that stuff on a 2wd is like putting an elevator in an outhouse, sure it's a great conversation piece, but do you really want to push the down button? Just my opinion....

Basically that means that, that colorado is built to be a play truck, even though it's most likely just a pavement pounds that looks pretty.

It's going to runs you about $15,000 for the truck

the work to have that done is about $8,000 just by itself, and the truck runs about $10,000.

...unless you do the work yourself, then all that stuff will cost about $3,000
