what is the name of the type of dancing they did in the 1700's?

in the Georgian era, at the balls they held alot socially, what is the type of dancing they would have done? When they swapped dance partner throughout etc.

    it's called the kebab

    this is actually where the name for the modern kebab comes from- becasue they looked like a kebab whilst dancing.

    The person who invented the dance was called Donna.
