what`s the metal band universally accepted by ALL types of metalheads(black, death and whatnot)?

No, they really aren't.

To answer the question, I have a hard time coming up with a single band that every single person I know who listens to metal likes. To be honest, metal is such a diverse genre with so many different and contrasting sub-genres that I really couldn't say that EVERYONE likes one band. Metal spans such a wide range of influences, ideology, imagery, and sounds that it's hard for one band to really grab the interests of everyone involved with the genre.

For example, a lot of older and more tradition fans love their Iron Maiden or Judas Priest, but at the same time I know plenty of people who find both bands boring and/or cheesy. The guy above me said Opeth or Meshuggah, both of which really don't appeal to many people outside of their respective sub-genres, Meshuggah especially. I don't know any black metal fans who honestly listen to Meshuggah, nor do I know any fans of doom metal who really, really like Opeth. On the same token, I doubt many fans of Meshuggah are putting on their Darkthrone records regularly. Even the mighty Metallica isn't held in very high regard by lots of people on the fringes of the metal genre.

So sorry if I couldn't come up with a single band, I only think that it's a question that is impossible to answer.

(I thumbs downed those dudes that said slipknot even though I like slipknot, they're alright, but pretty fkn far from being the best band)

To hanging with copper, I like every kind of metal, I'm a meshuggah/opeth fan that likes dream theater, emperor, vintersorg, katatonia and many others, I don't think metalheads are nearly as divided as you make them sound, though I'm sure there are a lot of small minded people who want to stick to one narrowly defined sub genre and nothing else.

Black Sabbath.

opeth is seriously amazing. lead singers vocals can give anyone chills.

metallica is so catchy yet badass. makes you wanna bang your head and puts you in a good mood.

and black sabbath because ozzy and his band was basically the godfather of metal and is the roots of any band / genre on the metaphorical metal tree.

slipknot is definitely NOT accepted by all. i dont even listen to metal and i know that. ive heard them be called posers by many(metalheads- not random people). this isnt my personal opinion just something ive noticed, so please dont attack me ;)
