The easiest way to get over her will be to find out if she reciprocates your feelings or not.

Because if she does feel something for you then granted, it will make it a lot harder to move on, but if she feels nothing then why waste your time yearning for somebody that can never give back what you need.

It sucks and is so damn hard when you feel so strongly for someone and can't get over them. Yeah, clearly your friends have never been in that situation or else they would be much more supportive.

Try get some closure, contact the girl if you can and see where her feelings are at. If this is not an option then only time will help you to get over her.

But never give so much of your heart and soul to someone, I love my boyfriend to death but I could not pledge that I would do anything for him because believe me, it's the one's we love the most than can hurt us the most.

I hope you're able to overcome all this and there is light at the end of your tunnel.

i been in the same situation, it was last year. i was a freshman in hs, she was a junior =). i was in love with her. she liked me too, but we didnt go out or anything "well that's what she said" i say we went out, but that's not the point really. its "why cant i get over her?" it's because she's constantly on your mind. that's like trying to get over the fact that you wear clothes everyday. it's not going to be easy to forget someone. it takes time.
