DirectTV question?? Adding a room?

Hello, we are thinking about switching to Direct TV and want to get the middle (choice) package for 29.99:

https://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/wizard/buildYourSys...

my questions is that it says it's good for up to 4 rooms, and we want to have directtv in 5 of our rooms. how much would it cost to add another room? or how much would it cost to maintain just basic cable in that extra room? would we really have to pay another 29.95 for just that one room?

Update:

* i meant the middle one as in the second of the three choices on the page

* dont worry i'm reading this : ) thanks a lot

29.99 is the promo price for 12 months and not the first 12 either

"Save $23 per month for 12 months

    (regularly $52.99/mo.)

Over 100 more channels than the FAMILY™ package

Local channels included at no extra charge*

Choice of FREE HD or DVR receiver upgrade after instant online rebate ($99 value)

    50 DIRECTV Music channels included

No equipment to buy or startup costs"

for a 4 room install, ( only going to address real cost for now) you pay an additional $15.00 per month for the promoted 4 rooms (1st is free $5,00 ea for every one after that) now for room #5 you will need to buy a receiver +/- $100.00 and a multi-switch or an additional 3 phase dish, either way add another $100.00. Dont even tell directv that you want 5, they will get confused and may screw up your work order. Order the 4 room install and get the extra parts before your install date. When the tech gets there ask/ tell him to install your 5th room ( $40.00 in cash wont get turned down ) This will be the easiest time to add it. Youll have to activate it on your own after the 1st 4 rooms are activated it will be $5.00 per month for the receiver (rm 5) as well....now your bill

actual monthly will be $72.99. To get the promo price requires you to send in the rebate form that comes with the 1st bill ( worth $18 credit x 12mo ) sign up w/ c.c. auto pay w/ an e-mail add. for an add. $5.00 credit, so allow 6-8 weeks untill you see any promotional discount. ( expect to be pissed in 13-14 months when your bill goes back to $ 72.99, your system wont be all shiny and new , making it feel like a $23.00 increase out of the blue )

i hope you not like the typical question asker and never even check for responces, it took about 1 hr for me to type (peck) all this...good luck, i predict that you will stay with cable because the real cost is probubly what your paying now. Take a look at Dish network as well they have dual tuners which could save you $15.00 per mo on hardware and their programming packages are cheaper. Let me know if you need info on "dual tuners"

The link takes you to only a log in page.

The only package Directv has for about that price is the Family package for $29.99 a month. It is the lowest tier package there is so I am not sure what you are seeing. Since you do not have Directv, they are probably giving you a special price that only will apply for a certain number of months before it steps up in cost. Directv is a wonderful service but I am suspicious of any price quoted as low as what you have quoted and there are 4 packages, so there is no "middle one".

To add another receiver, you will have to pay for the extra receiver and they will have to give you some slightly special hardware for the extra room, then even though you did not say, I would expect you to probably want at lest 1 DVR, which will cost extra. You will not have to pay for another entire dish and system. However, it sounds like you are really focused on the price and I would be surprised if the price does not end up pretty close to $60 a month... not counting the intro prices.
